820 N Expansion

Misinformation campaign

Dear Neighbors,

I want to address the concerns of the proposed expansion of 820 N, which I believe will negatively impact the Rivergrove neighborhood, especially for those who cherish their homes on 820 N. I have lived near 820 N and Geneva Road for over 37 years and travel 820 N on a nearly daily basis.

Recently, some Rivergrove residents have informed me that my opponent claimed I support expanding 820 N into a "five-lane highway" and alleged that I removed Facebook posts in support of the expansion, which is unequivocally false. To clarify, I have never discussed 820 N with my opponent. I am not in support of an 820 N expansion.

As your representative in the Utah House, I am committed to preserving the character of the Rivergrove neighborhood. I will partner with stakeholders and decision-makers to protect the neighborhood.

I will hold town halls to ensure your voices are heard AND REPRESENTED.

In my role as the senior policy advisor for Commissioner Tom Sakievich, I attended a TransCon50  leadership information exchange meeting a few years ago where I was vocal in opposition to an interchange at 820 N.

Access to the new Provo High (west of I-15):

From south: Provo's Center Street exit providess direct access to Lakeview Parkway. From north: Orem's University Parkway exit to Geneva Rd to Provo's 1390 N. When the project is completed, southbound traffic will use Lakeview Parkway directlyy to the school.
